7th Annual CASA Wine and Craft Beer Festival

2020 Winery/Brewery Information

Thank you for your interest in the 7th Annual CASA Wine and Craft Beer Festival. Each year, our community gathers for a fun afternoon of wine and craft beer tasting, music, food, tip jars, raffles, vendors, and a cornhole tournament. In 2019, more than 1,500 people attended the festival. All money raised goes to support CASA of Allegany County, a local non-profit that works with children and youth in foster care.

Festival Date: Saturday, June 13th, 2020 (Rain or Shine)

Cost: There is no fee to set up! We will reimburse you for bottles poured/beer poured.

Festival Hours: 1pm-6pm

Set-Up Times: Winery and Breweries can begin set up at 9am, all other vendors can begin set up at 10am. All vehicles must be moved to a designated parking area no later than 12:30pm.

Set-up information: Wineries: A large communal tent is provided for all wineries. You must provide your own tables, chairs, tablecloths, etc. Breweries: Breweries are set up independently closer to the beer truck that is available at the festival grounds. Your own tent, table, chairs, tablecloths, etc need to be provided by each brewery. Tables and chairs are available for rent.  Please email: [email protected] to get a list of prices and number of tables and chairs needed.  CASA of Allegany County provides ice for the event. Your booth size is determined by the winery/brewery, please indicate on your application how much space you need. This year’s festival goers will be receiving a stemless wineglass and five beer tastings.

Reimbursement: Wine Vendors will be reimbursed $7.00 per bottle poured. Independent breweries, please contact the CASA office for reimbursement schedule of pours. All money will be paid the day of the festival. This festival is an unlimited wine tasting festival, each individual will receive five craft beer credits. A beer truck is available for additional beer purchases. The price of any wine or beer sold by the bottle or growler is set by the individual winery/brewery. If you do not have proper licensing for the state of Maryland, please contact the CASA Office to discuss other options (ie: your beer represented on a beer truck).

Power/Utilities: Please indicate on your application if you need electrical services. There is no fee for this.

Security: Security is provided by CASA of Allegany County. Security will be recognized by t-shirts.

Winery/Brewery workers and employees: Please provide a list prior to the festival of any volunteers or employees who will be a part of your booth. A list can be sent to [email protected] by May 22, 2020. Please remember, no underage servers allowed. If you need volunteers to help pour the day of the festival, please contact the CASA office by May 22 with the number of volunteers needed.

Wristbands: All festival attendee’s must wear wristbands. Blue wristbands indicates the person is over the age of 21. Red wristbands indicates that they are non-drinkers or under the age of 21. IDs will be checked at the door. All attendees who will be participating in the tasting portion of the festival will have both a blue wristband and a glass.

ATM is provided by CASA of Allegany County and is on the festival grounds.

CASA of Allegany County will obtain the liquor licenses needed for the festival.
